The chairman NAB, Admiral (Rtd) Mr. Fasih Bukhari, called on the Auditor General of Pakistan Muhammad- Akhtar Buland Rana, at Audit House, Islamabad. During the meeting they discussed mater of mutual interest. The Additional Auditors General also participated to provide support to the Auditor General during talks. The Auditor General dilated upon the duties and functions of the Institution of Auditor General of Pakistan in the light of the Constitution of Pakistan.  The chairman NAB desired cooperation from the Auditor General in bringing down the incident of corruption in the country.
The NAB chairman also asked questions about the audit processes and the areas where the two organizations could cooperate. He also emphasized the need for introducing processes in allocation and spending of funds which would lead to prevention/curtailment of corruption in the country.
