A The audit applied by this Department is test audit and is applied to the whole area of expenditure & Revenue of Defence Services namely, Army, Air Force, Navy, DP Division, ISO (Inter Services Organization), CMAs, Cantonment Boards, Federal Government Colleges/Schools & Miliary Engineering Services, functioning within the area of entire Sindh & Balochistan Provinces. The function of this department is primarily to perform the audit work with Economy, Efficiency & Effectiveness as provided in INTOSAI standards, DAGP standards & FAM and reports thereof presented to PAC.

MISSION OF DEFENCE AUDIT DEPARTMENT

Mission of this department is to enhance transparency by an independent examination of all sorts of financial activities in the auditee organizations according to approved methodologies, techniques and procedures in a competent, efficient and effective manner, in performance of statutory duties relating to audit of expenduture and receipts of the Defence Services.
