The
SAI of Pakistan has over the years developed professional
expertise in state auditing in accordance with the internationally
accepted standards. The department has a large number
of officers specializing in various auditing and related
disciplines. More specifically, it has trained:

Five hundred auditors in performance auditing of projects
and programmes.

Eight auditors in evaluating performance of state owned
Enterprises.

Fifty MBAs / Masters in Accounting / Public Administration,
from various universities in U.S. and U.K.

Over one hundred auditors in skills to conduct performance
appraisal and audit of foreign missions.

Over fifty auditors in E.D.P auditing.
-
Twelve fellows from GAO (USA) and Canadian comprehensive
Auditing foundation (CCAF).
-
Four Master Trainers who are on the ASOSAI panel of
international instructors.
-
A cadre of audit and Accounts Technicians (SAS) with
recognized professional qualification.
-
Professional engineers and qualified doctors in medicine
for conducting specialized audits of public works and
health facilities.
