As the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Pakistan, the Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan meets a range of international obligations and frequently interacts with international audit fraternity on issues of professional development. The International Relations and Coordination (IR&C) Wing in the office of the Auditor General is responsible for transacting business in this area.

A:  International Cooperation

The AGP is an active member of many multilateral professional organizations including the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), Economic Cooperation Organization’s Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI), Inter-governmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR), and International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management (ICGFM). The Department actively participates in the assemblies, seminars, workshops, conferences and symposia organized by these bodies.
