PIFRA
HRM/CM Wing
A Way Forward Towards New Dimensions
With
the commencement of PIFRA II, lot of activities have
been under-taken by the Audit, Training and Accounts
departments in their respective sphere of work to achieve
the underlying objectives within due course of time.
The HRM/CM wing of PIFRA is working with great zest
and zeal to accomplish the targets as envisaged in PIFRA.
Rigorous activities have and are taking place in the
months of March-April 2006 including training programs
the first of which was scheduled in Peshawar from 20th
- 22th March 2006 for all EDOs and DOs (F&P). Apart
from their training on NAM/CoA a questionnaire was circulated
to them to assess their understanding about PIFRA and
how much it has helped them and can help them in the
near future. Analysis of the questionnaire that was
filled up by them would better enable the HRM/CM wing
to analyze the existing gaps and formulate strategies
for its rectification. Similar activities are planned
for Lahore, Karachi and Quetta. Activities pertinent
to the updation of Job Descriptions (JD), Performance
Standard (PS) and Performance Evaluation System (PER)
are underway. Different training platforms are being
utilized to carry out these exercises to amend and implement
all the JDs, PS and PER with 100% consensus of the respective
personnel. Keeping in view the importance of Job Description
and Performance Standards, FAM training platform was
utilized in April , 2006 at AATI Lahore in which all
the officers of grade 19-20 belonging to the Audit department
were present. A one day activity constituting of the
updation of JDs and PS with the participants consensus,
was carried out which proved to be successful.
Preparation of PIFRA promotional material is under process
and will be distributed to all the offices including;
Federal, Provincial, District and all field offices
to give the feeling of ownership and increase motivational
level of the staff. Along with this, PIFRA documentary
is in the last stage of being broadcast to acquaint
the Nation with the remarkable work under taken by the
Government in the form of PIFRA that envisions to provide
new paradigms in Accounting, Budgeting, Auditing and
Human Resource Management in a more transparent, accurate
and timely manner.
