  • Tremendous Achievements by NWFP in PIFRA II
    NWFP irrespective of the challenges being faced for bringing its 12 manual sites on SAP/R3 due to no office building, quake effected areas, law and order problems, minimum infrastructure, remote locality like Chitral and Kohistan (Dassu) is working with zest and zeal to accomplish the target of making the whole province production by September 2006.

    Verified input forms have been received by Siemens from Lakki Marwat, Karak, Tank and Khyber Agency . End-users trainings have been imparted to the resource persons of AAO Bajaur, DAO Chitral , DAO Battagram and DAO Kohistan. Apart from infrastructure facilities provided to 24 EDOs trainings have also been imparted to the staff of EDOs to prepare budget in SAP. On connectivity side, tremendous progress have been made with reference to EDOs connectivity through DAO offices. Numerous sites have been connected through cable with DAO offices and Short– Range Radio Links thereby enabling the EDO (F&P) to prepare and monitor the District Budget within SAP environment.

    The project Director PIFRA and Director FABS visited Peshawar in May 2006 to make important decisions for the implementation of GP Fund and Pension Modules
