Remarkable
Activities in Accountant General Office Balochistan
Under the umbrella of
PIFRA II, Regional Directorate Balochistan carried out
marvellous activities in the year 2006.In training concept,
this directorate took two days intensive training for
EDOs (P&F) from across the Balochistan Province
on NAM & SAP/R3 in Quetta w.e.f 24th - 25 April
2006. The aims and objectives of that training were
to conveyed the importance of PIFRA II with the help
of a documentary. The new accounting model with reference
to CoA in compression with old classification was thoroughly
discussed also. The budget making exercise was practically
done with the help of a customized program in excel.
Soft copies of the program were also distributed amongst
the participants. The training conducted by M/s Muhammad
Ayaz, Director Training-FABS & Muhammad Jan, Deputy
Director PIFRA Peshawar. The certificates were awarded
by Mr. Benjamin Randle, Accountant General Balochistan
who was the chief guest at the winding up ceremony on
the 25th April,2006.Moreover, the establishment of FOTC
was carried out in AG office Balochistan on top priority
basis. Latest 18 computers provided for trainings environment.
This centre is fully functional and will go a long way
in promoting skills and knowledge of the new system
and methodologies.
The soil testing at the site of the Pakistan Audit &
Accounts Academy for the construction of Audit and Accounts
Complex Quetta was done by the contractors in May 2006.On
the other hand, the OAT of 30 UPS system was conducted
on the behalf of satisfactory results moved to Lahore
for implementation of District Budget in Punjab. For
comprehensive presentation of new audit methodology
M/s Syed Turab Haider,Director Training, Muhammad saleem
Khan Deputy Director visited Quetta for two days on
23rd May 2006.
