Modernization and Change Management Activities HRM/CM
wing of PIFRA jointly with the collaboration of HRM
wing of AGP office have undertaken numerous activities
patient to the revision and finalization of Job Description
and Work Performance Standard along with awareness and
acceptance workshops on Change Management with emphasis
on orienting people with the PIFRA project.
The first activity was conducted in the last week of
March in Peshawar for 3 days by utilizing the NAM training
workshop. Participants constituted of DDOs and EDOs
from all over NWFP. The main focus of these days were
to create awareness amongst the participants regarding
PIFRA with the help of video,
followed by the Project assessment questionnaires. In
the month of April 2006, the FAM training workshops
were utilized for the revisions, finalization and awareness
regarding Change Management. The activity was conducted
in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad from time to time with
participants grade 16-18 and also 19-20 officers. The
overall impact of the activity was accommodating and
more or less fulfilled the requirements for which it
was undertaken.
Similarly , in the month of May, the office of AGPR
was used to carry out the revision and finalization
of staff Job Description and Work Performance Standards
starting from 16 up to the top level. This activity
was conducted on pursuance to the tasks and duties they
currently perform so as to give it a shape with slight
modification and approval from their sub ordinates before
its implementation .
The overall result of the activity was satisfactory.
Similar sort of activities will be conducted in the
offices of CGA and AGP as per their staff availability.
Another activity was conducted in the month of June
by utilizing the platform of CAATs, ACL and ADM-Plus
DATA Extraction training workshop to give the participants
constituting of BPS grade 16-18 and 19-20 and up to
the date. Orientation regarding its various component
followed by the PIFRA Video, Job Description and Work
Performance Standards presentation and in the end filling
up of Job Descriptions and Performance Standards Performa's.
